Hello everyone,

So I’ve been delaying mentioning this until I had more information- but two an a half weeks ago I was hospitalized. It has since been decided that I am to be on strict bedrest. Aka, I’m not supposed to leave my bed over the next 90 days; or until the baby comes, if she comes sooner. This has come as a shock to both Andrew and I. I didn’t expect to be out of work and commission so soon- though I’m sure it’s been very obvious to everyone that I’ve been struggling for some time.

That said, we do have enough of a buffer that the schedule will not be changed from the one mentioned three updates ago. So everything should be fine in regards to the comic.

Kickstarter News:

The shipping label issue has been resolved with our third party shipper. Books are once again going out- but slowly. As in, quite slowly. Everything is already packaged- so it is a matter of processing and transportation (The office of our shipper is 1.5 hours away). I am setting up a system so that I can process the labels and packages from my bed- but transportation is obviously the biggest hurdle right now, as I am completely out of commission and Andrew is the only one able to work and fully tend to our son.

I promise you that we are moving as fast as we can, as this situation allows.

Thank you to everyone who has been so patient with us. I have been receiving incredibly hurtful messages and e-mails from people who don’t seem to understand that sometimes horrible things happen- or multiple horrible things- outside of your control that cause delays. I think it is the reality of creating a product where you have to work with outside companies to bring it to life.

Anyhow, that’s where we are at- take it or leave it.
